- I like the composition, and general layout. Despite having many objects in frame, it still success in showcasing the center piece, without having the viewer's attention dragged around the other devices.
- Better centering of the middle case could've made the photo better, as the case is very slightly skewed.
- We utilized adjustment of hue, to make the colors more distinct, in our advertisement. In addition, we used blur to draw attention to the middle of the photo.

Motion photography
Things I liked:
1. I like the playful nature and essence of the photo
2. I like the frozen motion captured, with the flip flop in midair
3. The emotion captured in the action of the photo(intense focus)
Things that could've been done better:
1. Getting a better view of the subject/lighting
2. Better focus on the person, and what they are throwing
3. Not much to improve for this photo, I think, maybe placing subject more in center of photo

Shorebreak Questions:
What did Clark do before photography?
Before photography, he surfed a lot. "Photography came out of nowhere." "It struck a nerve and it turned into a full time career." He used to work at a botanical garden.
What do you like about his work?
I, personally am drawn to the rarity of the shots he takes. Shots that can only be taken in a tiny window of time.
What do you not like about his work?
I don't like the lack of uniqueness from shot to shot. I don't see a lot of variation in ocean photography.
What brand of camera does he use and how does he take it into the water?
He uses a Nikon D4. To capture pictures in water, he uses a case for the camera, that keeps water out.
Is this a career that you would consider, why/why not?
I would definitely consider it, as I am drawn to the broad creative aspect of the job. The only thing I'm skeptical of is the unstable nature of these jobs.

Action photography continued

Questions:
I think my best image is the middle photo, as it was the hardest to time, and it was the hardest to get the subjects in frame.
I think my least successful photo is the right one, for the reason that there wasn't much creativity in the actual shot itself.
One thing I could've done better would be getting the center subjects in better focus/making it more clear as to what I'm focusing on in the photo.
Ideal action subject: People, because there is so much room for creativity and experimentation within this subject. Almost any photo taken is going to be dynamic, and full of life.

It didn't appear this way during the actual shoot, but the traveling subject(in this case a muffin) is a bit hard to see in the photo. I included a second image and circled the location of the subject per shot, to clarify that I photoshopped it (5 shots)

critiquing:
I think that the three photos turned out pretty well, though I think that the setting of a school quad was a little problematic, considering Cal High doesn't have many visually pleasing spaces. Because of this though, I think it created an interesting contrast between the playfulness and happiness of the subjects, and the blandness and lack of color of the courtyard.
